Custom Cabinetry

I'm unable to completely let go of my cabinetry. I especially enjoy working with clients who trust my artistic intuition enough to let me run with an idea. Bob and Beth Wilson are two of those people. The basic kitchen was drawn up by Architect Don Stamp and then I took the details to another level, from the copper bar top to the pie plate light above the range hood cabinet.

With this kitchen, the client gave me the opportunity to incorporate many items found while renovating the existing home, such as some old chrome hinges and rejuvenated bar stools with buffalo hide seats. Other specialized details included corner drawers, custom crown molding and the 4 inch thick book-matched island counter top. When I make a connection with the client, they get my best work. The Martini kitchen is a contemporary project with many artful details. Nice touches include: a light in the pantry which turns on when the doors open, two colors and levels in the granite sink top, curved oven end, and the island shape that mirrors the grand piano seen through the round wall opening.
